While the trailer doesn't reveal the other three players, expect each of them to have an equally expanded backstory and dysfunctional personalities. Similar to Payday, Overkill promises four lead characters, but this time, they will have to battle their way through a decomposing landscape under the main aim to strengthen your base camp in D.C. That being said, with this being The Walking Dead, there are sure to be some equally dangerous human foes knocking around out there too. Complete with Negan-esque baseball bat, it looks like he is more than equipped to take on the gnashing teeth of the zombies. Seeming to be a sole survivor, Aidan is trapped among the shuffling corpses of the undead but making his way in the end of the world.
However, things take a turn for the worse, with Aiden finding himself caught in the midst of a zombie outbreak. The first trailer focuses on Aidan, a downtrodden businessman caught in the hustle and bustle of Washington D.C. Overkill had teased a big announcement following the shocking midseason finale of The Walking Dead season 8, and it didn't fail to disappoint.
